Rother Valley Croquet Club was officially opened on the 20th May 2000 and has two full size lawns and one half size lawn which is particularly useful for beginners or complete novices.
A beautiful little club house, with views across the South Downs, adjoins the lawns and is used for teas, lunches and shelter when needed.
We are a very active club and play many formal and friendly matches with numerous clubs, of all sizes and capabilities, in the region.
Only formal matches are played in ‘whites’ the rest of the time we play in normal clothing with flat soled shoes. The club has an ample supply of equipment for those wishing to try croquet for the first to to borrow.
